FDF Scotland

On 12 March, ahead of the 2021 Scottish Parliament elections, Food and Drink Federation (FDF) Scotland held a hustings event. This podcast is the first in a three part series featuring highlights from the hustings.

In part one, we hear more about the candidates’ key priorities for the next Scottish Parliament, including the ways they will support and work with the food and drink industry.

The event was chaired by freelance food and drink journalist Karen Peattie.

We were joined by a candidate from each of the main political parties:

  • Jamie Halcro Johnston, the Scottish Conservatives
  • Mags Hall, the Scottish Greens
  • Rhoda Grant, Scottish Labour
  • Liam McArthur, the Scottish Liberal Democrats and
  • Fergus Ewing, the Scottish National Party
